Thanksgiving Day

Dear friends,

Thanksgiving Day is a holiday of gratitude for all the best things experienced in the past year. It is a tribute of praise and gratitude to God for all His mercies and blessings. This fantastic holiday dates back more than 3,500 years ago. It was then, after liberation from Egyptian slavery, that the Lord God bequeathed to his people never to forget about gratitude.

On this day, at our worship service, you will find a joyful atmosphere of worship, preaching of the Word of God, life-affirming testimonies of people whose lives were radically changed under the influence of God’s power, a lot of festive music, communication with wonderful people and of course a buffet.

 

THE APOSTLES CREED

I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth. And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord; Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit; Born of the Virgin Mary; Suffered under Pontius Pilate; Was crucified, dead and buried; He descended into Hell; The third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven; And sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; From thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit; The Holy Christian Church, the Communion of Saints; The Forgiveness of sins; The Resurrection of the body; And the life everlasting. Amen.
